Have used this on a couple of trips and just started using (temporarily) as a primary bed since my daughter has decided that she's "too big" for a crib. I've never had to add air to it - remains inflated even if the valve cover is removed. It's quick and easy to inflate with the manual pump. Only con...can be somewhat difficult to remove the last remnants of air despite using the deflate option on the pump (some type of inner baffles?). Love that it fits a standard crib sheet and that the mattress removes entirely from the base. I've never noted any noise with daughter's movements during sleep. I also like that the entire bed is bumpered. Daughter loves it. Would purchase again!!!
